Hello! My name is Katelyn Kirack and this is my third year in Richmond 4-H. This year I held the officer position of Vice-President and was just elected as President for the 2020-2021 year. This year I raised two Suffolk cross sheep, their names are Baxter and Bandit. Choosing my lambs is my favorite part of raising animals. This year I am also involved in the quilting project, I was a Junior Leader for the Beginning 4-H program, and I was a part of the Leadership program. Having my lambs has kept me busy and focused during the COVID pandemic.I am also very involved outside of 4-H. I was the co-president of my schools Student Council, I am the recipient of the 2020 ACSA Award from Richmond School, I played basketball and volleyball at Richmond Elementary School, and I also played on the Baseline Travel basketball team. In high school I plan to play on the basketball, field hockey, and softball teams. I will also be running for Freshman Class President. I will continue to show my sheep in 4-H and I plan to start showing steers in FFA. I hope to become an interior designer after High School Graduation.Thank you for all the support you give the 4-H and FFA kids! I plan to see all of you at the Auction next year during fair.
