Hi, my name is Megan Griffith and I just finished my freshman year at Lassen High. I am 14 years old and I will be showing market rabbits at the fair/on-line auction this year with Susanville FFA. I am, and always have been, highly active in many projects and activities. I am currently on the varsity field hockey team, attend dance at House of Dance; dancing since I was 3-years old beginning at J&J Dance, active in Best of Broadway, on the Novice Parliamentary Procedures team with FFA. and I am the presiding president of Thompson Peak 4-H. I also got the All Around 4-Her Award 2 years ago and have earned my platinum star rank in 4-H. I have been working with animals since I was a baby as both of my older siblings were in 4-H and FFA. My favorite part of working with animals is the learning process. I always love to learn new things with FFA and 4-H. Though Covid 19 has made it a struggle to do a lot with 4-H and FFA this year, I have been able to be more attentive with my animals due to staying home along with honing my art skills, which is one of my favorite activities. Before Covid, I was one of Susanville FFA members that was chosen to attend our State FFA conference in Anaheim, California, but unfortunately it was cancelled. I look forward to attending and doing more with FFA and 4-H in the upcoming years.
